JOB DESCRIPTION

To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site.

Are you a target driven individual with high attention to detail and accuracy?

Do you enjoy working in a highly pressurised environment which operates 24/7/365 days a year?

Do you have 1-2 years’ experience as an artisan assistant?

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Matric or equivalent

Any technical certification or skill will be advantageous.

and the willingness to further your studies to ultimately meet the requirements of the position is essential.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1-2 years’ experience as an artisan assistant

KEY OUTPUTS

Skills:

Vast knowledge of tools and the use thereof,

Be able to do basic arc welding.

Mechanical knowledge

Working with and on heavy equipment and plant (mechanical and electrical)

Essential Competencies:

Industry knowledge

Legislation (OHS Act)

Working with people

Planning and organising
