Port Elizabeth

Plettenburg Bay

Jeffreys Bay

Dutya Transkei

Queenstown

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To create the product displays within a store or set of that facilitate improved sales volumes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchandising

• Create product displays as per the seasonal cycles and discount offers.

• Adhere to accepted merchandising standards.

• Create product displays as per the store floor plan.

• Ensure defective or old products are removed and new products are properly stacked and displayed.

• Install banners, posters, displays, flags, etc in the store.

• Check the product stocking, merchandising and display systems.

• Interact regularly with all store staffs to keep them informed about upcoming store projects and timelines.

KPI’s

• Order volumes

• Shelf packing optimization

• Display creativity

• Currency of shelf products

Knowledge

• Product display techniques

• Sales management principles

• The market

• Marketing principles and practices

Skills

• Direct selling

• Verbal and written communication

• Interpersonal

• Logical thinking

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Matric

• Marketing and sales diploma (preferable)

• Valid Code EB drivers’ licence

• 1 to 2 years merchandising experience
