Job title: YES Graduate

Reports to: FES & P Manager

Contract: 12 months contract as part of our Graduate program

Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) is a global player in the automotive industry and is represented in 25 countries, operating 77 sites, with 7 R&D centres and employs 21 500 employees worldwide. FCM South Africa is looking for a FES & P Graduate to be based at our plant in Port Elizabeth.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Yes Graduate will be responsible to establish and improve work standards and process flows.

The main missions will be to gain development and learning on the following:

As the FES & P graduate, your main responsibilities are as follow:

Experience in setting up standards and implementing the required performance measures.

Maintain site layouts, operational warehouse layouts to remain current and updated with all new changes to ensure sound work practices.

Analysing and improving key business processes, work measurement, operational design, and layout

Feasibility studies which include data gathering and presenting the data to management in a well-structured report and presentation.

Application of Industrial Engineering principles, lean methods, and techniques & FES Principles

Increase operating efficiencies and achieve potential costs saving initiatives.

Provide implementing planning and tracking support.

To support FES Deployment in Production.

To support FES &P in launch & roll out Kanban pull systems.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

The ideal graduate will have/be:

3-year National Diploma or B-Tech in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

Computer literacy at Intermediate level essential

Have a sound understanding of Work study principles and Work measurement tools.

A detail orientated person with analytical abilities and a structured and methodological way.   Dynamic and proactive behaviour.

70% overall achievement on full academic results.

Age between 18-35

Never been registered with the Y.E.S Youth Program before.
