JOB TITLE : EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT PROCESS CONTROLLER OPERATER

The Successful Applicant Must Have The Following Requirements.
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physics
. Registered water treatment plant operator level I or II ,level IV or V will be advantageous
. National Certificate in water care, analytical chemistry or microbiology will be advantageous
. First Aid certificate Level I will be advantageous
. Light vehicle driver’s licence will be advantageous
. Be Computer literate – Ms Word and Excel
. Have at least 3 years experience in similar position
. You will be responsible for the process control of 1.5ML/ day WTP that includes Reserve Osmosis and other fatelite facilities.
. Have experience with SCADA/HMI/PCL systems.
. Be a dynamic team player with good working ethics, be proactive, self motivated, prioritising and work with amount of supervision.
. You will be required to attend fault finding and breakdowns
. Be able to work under pressure and ensure optimum chemical utilisation, water within quality
. General Supervision and Training of ETP attendants
. Be able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels, as well as completing operational logs
. Ensure operational compliance of SHER Policies, Procedures and Standards as per the OSH Act & Regulations, Emissions and DWS requirements.
. Deal with safety, health and environmental emergencies
. Assist with SHE incident investigations and reporting to Management/Clinic
