Mayibuye Transport Corporation maintains the highest possible standards in the provision of an effective, efficient and safe passenger transport service to the Eastern Cape communities on selected routes.

PURPOSE: 

To establish a database of bus drivers, comprising of suitably qualified youth, women, and other suitably qualified individuals, to be in our pool of resources to source their services as and when the need arises. We are calling

on competent drivers, of designated groups, sober habits for registration and enrolment on MTC Bus Driver Data Base.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION:

Code EC Driver’s License

•Valid Professional Driving Permit

. Minimum driving experience of 3 years of buses or trucks

. Minimum Grade 10

. Adequate Numeracy and Literacy Skills

• Above Average Customer Care Skills

•Flexibility

• Availability on short notice

EMPLOYER OBLIGATIONS:

•Appointment for placement to Database will be subject to medical screening as an inherent requiremet of the job

• Competency assessments

• Screening of qualifications and reference vetting
