To strengthen our local Sales team, we are currently seeking a TA Junior to join our East London branch.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Title: TA Junior
Location: East London, South Africa
Reporting to: Sales Manager
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales by demonstrating and promoting our baking products, training customers, and contributing to business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bake and present high-quality products with excellence.
Train customer bakers on our products and solutions.
Conduct live demonstrations of finished goods for a minimum of 10 people.
Collaborate with the Sales team to achieve business growth.
Plan and execute daily and weekly bakery production at store level.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Provide technical advice and product guidance.
Facilitate training sessions for groups of up to 25 people.
Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction.
Develop innovative products using existing and new ingredients.
Represent Puratos professionally at shows, presentations, and store openings.
Teach and implement cost calculations at store level.
Perform any additional duties as required by the department.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years as a baker or confectioner.
At least 3 years in a supervisory role (managerial experience is a plus).
Experience in B2B sales and/or the food sector (FMCG market) is advantageous.
SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong knowledge of bakery industrial processes.
Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Valid driver’s license required.
