JOB DESCRIPTION
To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site.
– Are you a target driven individual with high attention to detail and accuracy?
– Do you enjoy working in a highly pressurised environment which operates 24/7/365 days a year?
– Do you have 1-2 years’ experience as an artisan assistant?
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
– Matric or equivalent
– Any technical certification or skill will be advantageous.
– The willingness to further your studies to ultimately meet the requirements of the position is essential.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
– Required to work rotational shifts.
– Required to work outside of normal working hours (after hours and over time)
– 1-2 years’ experience as an artisan assistant.
KEY OUTPUTS SKILLS:
– Vast knowledge of tools and the use thereof,
– Be able to do basic arc welding.
– Mechnical knowledge
– Working with and on heavy equipment and plant (mechnical and electrical)
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:
– Industry knowledge– Legislation (OHS Act)
– Working with people
