PURPOSE

The purpose of this post is to provide a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused cashier and barista service ensuring accurate account of all stock and transactions within a catering retail environment.

REQUIREMENTS 

Matric/Grade 12

Cash Management Certificate

Valid driver’s licence

1 – 3 years cashier experience

1-year Barista experience advantageous

2 years’ experience in a customer services environment

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Basic computer skills

Knowledge and understanding of POS system

Literacy skills

Knowledge and understanding of menu, prices and specials

Knowledge and understanding of food, health and safety require Quality and tasteful beverages

Increased customer base

Ability to handle food and hot beverages

Organised and detail oriented

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Customer management

Cash Management.

Administrative duties e.g. any task related to operations within Catering service.

Compliance to food safety and health and safety requirements.

Provide professional customer experience.

Stock merchandizing and stock administration

Ad hoc duties e.g. Beverage production
