JOB DESCRIPTION

Must be prepared to work shifts.   

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To load parts on paint shop conveyor according to works instruction

To off load parts from conveyor into wooden pallets or steel pallets.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Load parts on dedicated hangers/off load parts from conveyor

Ensure parts are not damaged during loading or off loading

Liase with team leader on priorities or painting sequence

Off-Loader: Pack parts into wooden crates or steel pallets.

Off-Loader: Close wooden crates or steel pallets before shipping to sealer area

Check for obvious damages on parts.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Understanding of parts/hangers to be used

Basic knowledge of production related quality system and M2S system

Understanding of verbal instructions to be carried out.

Ability to identify, describe and verbally report problems related to work activity

Be able to read and write.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS                                                                                  

NQF Level Grade 12

Minimum 1-year operating experience within an automotive manufacturing environment

In-house quality training and M2S training
