JOB DESCRIPTION

Join Lactalis SA Port Elizabeth Plant as a Forklift Operator in Dry Stores department reporting directly

to the Stores Manager. Key responsibility of driving and manufacturing the Forklift in a safe and

responsible manner whilst driving within the production facility. Successful candidate must have a valid Forklift driver license. This exciting career opportunity at will enable you to play your part in ensuring that the company achieves its objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Matric or equivalent advantageous.

A tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain is compulsory

Valid forklift license a necessity;

2 years’ experience in forklift driving

Must be able to work accurately under pressure.

Willingness to work overtime and public holidays essential.

Must be a team player, work accurately and have a sense of urgency.

Punctuality and attendance reliability essential

Duties & Responsibilities

Offloading and loading of material within various departments.

Safe operation of forklift at all times

Maintain good housekeeping, including adherence to the stacking procedure.

Adhere to ISO requirements

 Assist with normal general tasks within the department if not driving.
