JOB ADVERT SUMMARY

A Vacancy exist for a Clerk: CCTV to join the Loss Control team at the Port Elizabeth Branch. The Purpose of this position is to assist in reducing shrinkage and pilferage in the PE Warehouses by monitoring CCTV cameras.  The successful candidate must be competent to fulfill the full function of this role as listed below. 

REQUIREMENTS 

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 

Business English: Fluent 

Experience in working with senior management

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform CCTV duties and reports 

Play back and report all incidents/accidents and near misses on site 

Download 2 batons, analyze data and give feedback to Loss Control Manager on night patrols 

Ensure Security personnel reports for duty    

Test all ADT Panic buttons on weekly basis and report faults 

Report faulty zones on electric fence 

Assist With Investigation 

Ensure GOPRO headcams are in working order 

Download headcams  

Provide information to Loss Control Manager to assist in disciplinary investigations 

Perform Training And Administrative Tasks 

Train new security staff in terms of gate procedures, alcohol procedures and completing of documentation.  

Order and store seal books, ring seals and strap seals
