Are you passionate about training and development in the retail sector? Are you an experienced retail trainer? We are looking for a Regional Trainer to join the HR Training department in the Eastern Cape and will be based at our East London Distribution Center. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To identify and monitor training within own region. Conduct Skills and Learnership Training programmes. Assess and moderate Learnerships, skills and operational training.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
5 Years Retail (store) Experience. HR / Learning & Development will be advantageous.
Matric – Assessor/facilitator certificate and/or HR qualification will be advantageous
NQF 5 with Assessor/Facilitator and Moderator certificate; or HR Qualification
Valid driver’s license – this is not negotiable
Ability to travel extensively
Proficient in Excel
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Training programmes and identifies training needs / gaps within region
Quality Assurance – Conducts assessments according to ETQA requirements and assist with moderations
Mentoring and monitor progress of all learners in the region
Identify training gaps and up skill people
Prepare training schedules for group training
Follow up on training done for OHS, Shrinkage, fire , forklift/reach truck , first aid
Communication with operations – Continually liaise/feedback with Store Regional Managers on a formal basis by attending their regional meetings
New store openings
Assessing & moderation within the region of all skills programs
