PURPOSE:

The successful candidate will manage both existing and new customers within the region surrounding East London area. Fluency in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa together with technical ability is beneficial. The candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record and have the ability to co-ordinate travels both economically and efficiently throughout the area and will report into the Sales Manager based in Bellville

KEY OUTPUTS 

Meet month-to-month sales targets in New, Used and Rental

Sustain and grow machine sales and rental hours within allocated territories/ customer base

Effective territory management

Accurately and efficiently deal with sales administrative tasks

Effective self-management and performance ownership

Manage all aspects of sales process

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES 

Good customer relationship skills,

Business planning and development skills and knowledge

Strong communication and presentation skills

Sound technical knowledge of CAT equipment and industry, CAT product line including accessories and work tools

Knowledge of CRM Tools

Knowledge of MS office

B. Tech Sales/Marketing Diploma or equivalent

Communication and facilitation skills

Financial acumen

Experience in a Technical Sales Role
